Pre Park Run Breakfast


Morning Folks!

Heading out for an early morning easy run. A slow paced recovery run is ideal for early mornings. As you'll be running in a fasted state this type of running, which doesnt require much glycogen to fuel, is ideal.

If you're planning to do a more intense workout first thing in the morning, you'll need to eat some carbs beforehand. That's because more intense training uses glycogen as fuel. If you try to train fasted it'll feel hard, as your body will be running on empty.

You want to run, get some new PB's and be the best you can be!

Having a good diet is just as important as your training in delivering a step change in performance.

So this morning I had porridge for breakfast and bagged myself a new Park Run 5k PB. BOOM!
