OMG I've just had a bad case of the mid morning munchies, after doing some research on the health benefits of ginger (ginger makes me sick, but has some amazing anti nausea properties amongst other things).
I couldn't resist the lure of my kitchen any longer, so decided to nip downstairs and make pancakes.
I was sceptical. This is a Jamie recipe, mashing up a banana, with an egg and 3 tbs of wholemeal self raising flour. And boy they were good! I didn't have any blueberries, so dowsed "sparingly" (as if!) with maple syrup and scoffed the lot.
I've a hill session later ... so I'll claim "carb loading".
